About the Artist

Painting became a way to pass time while waiting for my fun-loving-not-a-care-in-the-world teenager to walk through the door in one piece. It was far better than sitting around stressing. As a result of the late hour, many paintings are simply a reaction to color and light tempered by mood and thoughts. This began a couple of years ago and the teenager has now graduated.

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Juris Doctorate from Louisiana State University. I am licensed to practice law in Mississippi, Louisiana and Colorado and have worked for one of the largest law firms in the nation. Presently, I can be found with my rescue dogs and horses on a small farm where the hills meet the Delta in beautiful North Mississippi.
